Following the devastation of CAT 5 Hurricane Michael in 2018, CMM exemplified resilience and determination. The Mega Barn at Pirate’s Cove Marina was rebuilt and operational within seven months, while Lighthouse Marina achieved full functionality in just six months. The rapid restoration of fuel and transient dockage at Lighthouse—completed within two weeks—reflects the exceptional expertise and teamwork cultivated during this monumental recovery effort.

Our event portfolio is equally impressive. The Blue Marlin Grand Championship, held at The Wharf Marina in Orange Beach, Alabama, has shattered state marlin records and drawn anglers competing for over $1,000,000 in prizes. This electrifying event, among the Gulf Coast’s most prestigious, captures the spirit of competitive sportfishing. Similarly, the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Championship, conceptualized by Sonny Middleton and launched in 2011, has become the pinnacle of offshore big-game fishing, crowning the “best of the best” in the Gulf region.

CMM is also proud to manage the renowned Wharf Boat and Yacht Show, a record-breaking event that attracts boating enthusiasts and delivers exceptional sales for dealers, from small runabouts to luxury yachts. On Panama City Beach, the Emerald Coast Boat & Lifestyle Show showcases not only the latest in marine technology but also embodies the vibrant outdoor living that defines the Emerald Coast.

Our commitment to innovation is evident in our infrastructure projects. In 2015, we completed the Mega Barn at Pirate’s Cove Marina, the third-largest dry storage facility in the nation, setting new standards in design and functionality. At Pelican’s Perch Boatyard in Pensacola, Florida, we facilitated the acquisition of a state-of-the-art 50-ton marine travel lift—the first major equipment investment in the facility’s 55-year history.
